Salomon Snowboards is proud to announce the addition of seventeen-year-old Jed Anderson to the 2009 Am Team. Coming off of a head-turning four days of shooting resulting in a half part in the recent TWS film “These Days”, Jed has already begun shooting for his first full video part in this season’s forthcoming release from Transworld Snowboarding.
TWS film director Joe Carlino states, “Seriously, Jed is one of the top three best snowboarders I’ve ever shot. We just got back from our first trip filming for the new video. It’s November 28th and Jed walked away with about fifteen shots.” Not bad for a seventeen-year-old kid that’s never shot a major video part. Evan Lefebvre of Snowboarder Magazine says, “Jed’s that lucky little kid that you knew growing up who could do everything better than you all the time—but not in an asshole ‘O’doyle rules’ sort of way.”
When asked how he ended up on Salomon, Jed said, “I went on a trip to Quebec with Jarad [Hadi], Louie [Paradis], and Nick [Dirks] to Quebec City … I think that may have had something to do with it since Jarad and Louie ride for Salomon. Anyways, maybe they put in a good word or something? I donno. It’s really crazy. I feel fortunate to have these opportunities at such a young age. I’ve wanted it for a long time and now it’s all happening, its kind of surreal. I’m excited though. It’s cool when people have your back and allow you to do what you want to do.”
“We couldn’t be happier about having Jed on our program. It’s crazy how good he is at riding a snowboard. He’s creative, funny, and a lot smarter than the average seventeen-year-old kid. Jed’s a huge part of the future of this brand. Not to mention, he’s cool as hell.” says Java Fernandez, Team Manager at Salomon Snowboards. When asked for a quote on Anderson, Ashbury eyewear co-founder Lance Hakker stated, “Would it be bad if I said he was the best snowboarder in the world even if he doesn’t ride for us?”

Really Romes hold up cauuuse I break at least 1 Agent a year. They are made in Austria at the Elan factory so they are probably same as the 50 other companies’ boards that are manufactured there. Don’t be dumb most snowboarding companies are all hype. Jed Anderson is sick though uuhhh.

jibbing isn’t everything…..goon’s sick on rails but can’t hit jumps for shit….i have yet to see a part with goon hitting a jump and pulling more than a 3 and i think to myself “wow…..i do those tricks off jumps in my sleep…..if i can just do some tricky backside alleyoop shit on big rail’s i can be sponsored like that? wack”

I think this kid is sick, but i can’t stand dick-tight pants in skateboarding or snowboarding, it just looks unnatural. The boots are twice the size of your leg, and then those pants get wet… and ewwwww…. Also, the hood over the helmet, Are you trying to hid the helmet or not? Its okay to wear helmets, show it off baby!

It’s not all filmed in 4 days, just the Quebec stuff. A good portion of this footage was filmed by Graham Foy or the guys at Anytime Productions. All of the non HD street stuff is in his part in “Anytime”. and the park stuff is in the Airblaster movie.

Just cause youve never seen it doesnt mean it doesnt happen. Goon can ride pipe, and can actually rip jumps you just have not seen it cause its not whats marketable. People want to see goon get funky on rails and bonk stuff, thats just what sells. Same with Stevie Bell he can hit jumps its just not what they want to put in his video parts.
