Stepchild snowboards has entered into their third season now and they think they know everything. They have moved their production over to GST in Austria. With this move StepChild is able to offer better boards at competitive prices. Next year the line has been expanded to 12 boards including a Mike Ranquet guest pro model. The board is designed specifically for powder and has the memorable Ranquet Heineken logo base graphic. The board rides well, however; many say it will make a great wall piece.
Simon Chamberlain continues to ride for StepChild and has just signed a three-year deal. With his new contract he should be able to afford an ’88 Honda civic by summer 2005. He will be filming with Sean Johnson and the Defective Films crew this season.
