Stance: Regular, 21.5 inches wide with eighteen-degrees angle on the front foot and negative-twelve on the back.
Forward lean: A fair amount keeps me carving and on top of my edges.
Board: Nitro Janna Banana model 154 ($499) for park and 157 for mountain and powder riding. I love the fact that I have a Nitro under my feet.
Boots: ThirtyTwo Vela ($220) in black, size 7.
Bindings: Raiden Hellcat Janna Banana model ($200) in black/white.
Personal settings: I always write a few of my favorite Bible versus on my board.
Tuning techniques: I detune my tip and tail and wax about every other time I shred. I’d rather have too much speed and have to scrub a little; not having enough speed to hit something is
depressing! So don’t be lazy and wax up!
Jacket: Volcom Habitat jacket in white argyle print ($300).
Pants: Volcom Habitat pants in violet ($260).
Gloves: DaKine gloves are the best! Any model keeps my
digits warm! Targa mitt ($70) Electra glove ($35)
Goggles: Whatever I can find.
Helmet: Only when riding my dirtbike or snowmobile.
Riding style: I don’t know my riding style. I know I love to ride
powder! I think that’s because it usually requires riding my snowmobile, which I love! I also love riding a good park jump.
