Monday’s storm dropped 22 inches of new snow at Silverton Mountain on top of 45 inches from the weekend, which sat on 26 inches from Tuesday, which covered a dumping of 24 inches from a few days prior. Silverton Mountain is closing in on 300″ of snow for the season (since Labor Day) and 11 storms have dumped 15 inches or more at one time.
The current storm brings the mid mountain base at 11,945′ to 115 inches. The 115″ base is the best ever reported at Silverton Mountain for this time of year. The 84 inches of snow sitting in the parking lot is the most ever recorded by Silverton Mountain.
