On Monday evening, 6/19/06, during Nitro team week at High Cascade Snowboard Camp, about twenty-five riders and ten or so photogaphers and filmers invaded Mt. Hood for a Nitro team shoot. We all met up at the base of Timerberline at 5:30 and it took us about an hour and a half to get everyone to the High Cascade park by snowcat. Lukas Huffman hiked up which probably took him about an hour. He said he was “In it for the exercise.”
We’d We shot for about an hour or so as the sun started to set around 7:30ish. Around then the wind picked up and the snow began to freeze—one by one everyone started getting over it. We got down back to the base around 9:30, they took some lifestyle pics, then we packed in the fifteen passenger van and drove back down to Government Camp.
