Thursday Theater (8/17)
This week we explore the birds and the bees of snowboarding, how boards come to be. First stop, K2 headquarters just a stone’s throw off the coast of Seattle on Washington’s Vashon Island. There, meet up with design engineer, Sean Tedore to tour the ultramodern facilty where prototype boards are made, “We can go from idea to board in hand in twenty-four hours.” Says Tedore. From there it’s off to Mt. Hood to evaluate the product and get feedback with Team Manager Lance Hakker, Austin Smith and K2′s newest pro Bryan W. Fox.
