If you could ride anywhere in the world, where would you go? Anywhere outside of the U.S. hope to travel the world.
Favorite Terrain: Powder, trees, kickers, parks, pipes, just about everything.
First Time: It was at Park West in Utah (now Wolf Mountain) in December 89. I rented a Sims Halfpipe board and rode goofy for about the first month. I am regular.
Is snowboarding ready for the Olympics? Yes, snowboaridg has earned a spot as a “respectful” Olympic sport. Go USA. Shannon Dunn and Ross Powers!
If you didn’t snowboard what would you be doing right now? I would be taking all of the math classes I could possibly take. I still don’t get it…algebra, geometry, calculus.
What do you do when you’re not snowboarding? I love to write in my journal-I always have crazy stories to write about. If you meet me someday, I’ll have to share some.
Who most influences your style? My coaches, Crystal Aldana, Tara Dakides, Adam Longnecker, Jessica Delpiaz, and Jaine MacLoud.
Who do you ride with the most? I mostly ride with Mammoth locals. It’s a really nice mountain without a huge scene. There is about 8 of us and we ride all of the time.
If you were going on a trip and could only take five things with you (other than a change of clothes and your snowboard) what would those things be? My private jet, my best friend, a snowboard, some food, and good book.
