Favorite Terrain: Freeriding, tight trees with freshies, halfpipe, all mountain.
First Time: Cold, icy, drizzling at Crystal Mountain Washington. Groms were gurning me from the lift, so I was more determined.
Is snowboarding ready for the Olympics? Yes and no. Yes. Snowboarders are athletes, they train just as hard as other athletes but it’s more fun. No. Hope competitiveness doesn’t take away stoke from riding with friends from around the world.
If you didn’t snowboard what would you be doing right now? Working in a nightclub I use to own and hating it.
What do you do when you’re not snowboarding? Skate, surf, hang with friends and family. Paint.
Who most influences your style? Cara Beth Burnside, Nicola Thost
Who do you ride with the most? My Vail posse of girlfriends and all the VA beachers in Vail and Summit County. People who have fun but aren’t there to prove something.
